The Horse Trust princes Risborough Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all horses, ponies and donkeys living in the UK and we aim to do this through our three core charitable outputs. We provide respite and retirement at our horse rescue centre for working horses and those who have suffered, for example the army horses who have served their country, the police horses who have protected our communities from violence, and the ponies who have brought joy to disadvantaged and disabled children and young people. We fund non-invasive scientific research that will advance our knowledge of horse health, disease and veterinary treatment, which has the potential to impact positively on the wider horse population. We develop tailored training and qualifications on subjects related to horse welfare, which results in improved knowledge and better practical skills.
